My BBC training is the bedrock of everything I know. I joined BBC Network Radio as their youngest ever Studio Manager in October 1987 and over the course of the next seven years worked on nearly every show on national radio, from Woman’s Hour to John Peel. I left in 1994 because I felt the need to be my own boss and have the freedom to work on a more diverse range of projects.
I now spend a large part of my time making comedy shows, panel shows, dramas and documentaries for the BBC, often recording them on location around the country and coming back to my studio in Lewes, East Sussex to edit and mix them. I also have a very good relationship with most of the major sound post production facilities in London and regularly find myself behind the mixing desk at one or other of them. If you want me to get quotes and arrange a studio session in London for you then get in touch.
